PROSPECTUS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BREWER ISLAND (1957)

Foster City began development by the Foster Family in the late 1950’s and 1960’s as they began to develop Brewer Island. But, what else could Foster City have become? Found in our archives is this, a vision of a proposed development plan for Brewer Island as a Recreational Hub for all of San Mateo County. Polo Fields, an Athletic Center, Heliport, all ideas for the area in 1957.
