We have discovered and a letter sent to Jan and Sam Felser who were the prior owners of the Foster City Islander. This letter is signed from President Gerald Ford in 1974. The letter is regarding his pardon of President Richard Nixon. We will be putting this into the Foster City Historical Society’s viewing case at the Community Center ASAP to make sure to keep it safe.

1982 advertisement for Lincoln Centre. Note the spelling! Often miss-spelled when discussed in town it was/is called Lincoln “Centre” which is a more formal way to spell the word. Lincoln Center is obviously a well known location in New York City. Lincoln Property Company is a large developer and has been doing buisness in Foster City for decades.
